Because we believe in the need to close the gender gaps that still exist in the world of work. Our goal is to support more women in Latin America in finding quality jobs and grow professionally, with safe spaces designed for their needs and contexts.
Kickstart Your Career is designed for women over the age of 18 who live in Latin America and are currently looking for a new or better job.
We are looking for talented and resilient women who want to improve the quality of their work and are ready to transform their professional careers with the help of a community of professional women.
Kickstart Your Career is a live remote program, and you will connect to each session via Zoom. You will have two live sessions every Monday and Thursday, each lasting three hours, for six weeks.
In addition, you will have individual work to do each week, which you can complete at your own pace. You can participate from wherever you are, as long as you have a device with internet access and can be 100% present and focused.
Laboratoria is a nonprofit organization. Our work to empower women to achieve better jobs in Latin America is made possible thanks to contributions from donors, partner companies, and individual participants in our programs.
The amount paid by participants represents less than 20% of the total cost of the program, because we want it to be accessible and it represents a significant contribution to the sustainability and continuity of our services to more women.
What if I cannot afford to pay for the program?
You can apply for a partial or full scholarship. Please note that you must apply for the program and also express your interest in the scholarship. At the end of the process, we will give you the results of your application and let you know whether or not you have been selected for a scholarship.
Once we have communicated the results of the application process, we will provide instructions for making the payment. This will be between one and two weeks before the program begins.
If you find a job during the application process, you may decline your interest in participating if you wish.
Yes, all women participating in the program have gone through a selection process and have been notified that they have been accepted.
That would be excellent news for you. You can continue participating in the sessions and activities you want to join and continue to have access to the program content.
At the end of Kickstart Your Career, if you wish to continue developing your career with Laboratoria, you can join our membership program for a monthly fee of US$29 to access a holistic proposal that includes practical learning programs, personalized mentoring, events, exclusive content, and a community of women who will accompany you in your professional growth.
Currently, Kickstart Your Career is the starting point for joining the Laboratoria community and accessing our next stages of support through a monthly membership.
At the moment, we do not have direct access to the Growth Path, but we are always exploring new ways to bring more women on board.
Yes. You can request a refund within the first 7 days of the program start date.
If selected, you’ll be able to participate in the 6-week program at no cost.
The program costs $350, but is currently being offered at no cost to participants as we celebrate the launch of the new Laboratoria experience and the new format of the program.
